My prayers are with you and your wife Bob! You will be missed in Minneapolis, but are certainly doing the right thing.

Bob, your analysis and counsel has been so helpful to many more of us than you know. Thank you for all you have done to shed light on the working of our GA. And no Assembly has held more importance to our church than this one. But we also express our thanks to you now for staying with and supporting your wife with great devotion. That is as strong a witness to the grace of our Lord as anything else you have shared with us.

Bob, you will be missed. I'm so sorry to hear about the cancer. My sister had it a couple of years ago and is cancer free today. It is scary stuff. Peace to your wife, you, and your family.

Many thanks to all of you who have written and been lifting up prayers on our behalf. We are grateful to be surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ, grateful that our burden is being shouldered by many together.

May God's healing grace sustain your wife and you and your doctors. And the G.A. as well, since your wisdom and faithful witness there will surely be missed.

May God grant your wife complete healing, and may your ministry be truly blessed! You have been a blessing to many of us in my former presbytery (Beaver-Butler) and I continue to read your posts as I serve here in the South. Thank you for your labor for our Lord!

I went through breast cancer in 2005-2006, invasive ductile carcinoma. God was amazing during that time. I found out that what seemed at first to be an incredible blow turned out to be something else altogether. Hard, but an amazing journey with God. My prayers are with you and in particular with your wife.

Even though I am not a commissioner this year, I have been reading your updates for GA committee work. As usual, they have been helpful. I will be praying the best for your wife and for you, and I will be praying with a bit more urgency for an assembly sans Bob Davis! Blessings from above, Y'all, and good wishes from Hernando, MS & St. Andrew Presbytery.
